[Although not a huge fan of multimedia flash ecards (which can fail to load and often be more onerous for the recipient than magical) there is obviously room to experiment and see this medium progress. It’s also nice to reach a huge audience and to evolve certain designs unique to the ecard way/medium of giving and communicating. The 123Greetings site is a little ad-heavy, but with a mobile app it is mainstream enough to still be evolving. It’s also managed to keep its features straight-forward and effective (you don’t even need to sign up to send a quick ecard).]
